Fruit-full Schools

Whether you want to know how to plant a fruit tree in your grounds or find out about some of the UK’s many weird and wonderful local fruit varieties like Red Devil, Beauty of Bath or Pitmaston Pineapple, this website provides it all.
Follow our lead and get fruit-full with us! Do your bit to increase biodiversity by planting trees and attracting wildlife, so not only will your school become more productive, they will become more beautiful and inspiring places to learn and grow.

We want to make sure that our orchards are valued and well used by teachers, pupils and our local communities. Our range of free downloads, curriculum linked resources and step-by-step guide to grafting, planting, pruning and caring for new fruit trees have been developed especially for schools by experts in all things orchard, Learning through Landscapes, Garden Organic and Common Ground.

Our ‘How To’ guides are accompanied by a huge range of top tips, inspiring images and fruity case studies. As our projects progress, share real-time learning with fifty participating Fruit-full Schools – a new generation of over 40,000 young people taking positive action towards the creation of a more sustainable future.  Take a look - we hope we can inspire you to get involved!
