Countryside Days for Schools 2010

Learning through first hand experience

Hampshire Countryside Learning has been providing healthy, safe and well supported learning experiences for the last ten years. As a charitable organisation we organise countryside education days for key stage two children throughout the year. Each visit provides an opportunity for all pupils to explore, enjoy and learn about the countryside whilst delivering various core elements of the national curriculum.

Support materials for teachers are available prior to the visit to allow for preparation and follow up work. A twilight teacher briefing sessions takes place before all countryside days as a pre-requisite to the visit and we strongly advise that all teachers attend this in order to receive vital information and undertake their own risk assessments.
