Growing Schools Garden resource wins prestigious award!

The Department for Children, Schools and Families and Twofour Communications won the award for best Interactive Media for the Growing Schools Garden resource http://www.thegrowingschoolsgarden.org.uk/ at the recent IVCA Clarion Awards ceremony. The awards were presented during a gala ceremony held at the BFI Southbank, London on Friday 23 September.

The judges described the resource as “a fun interactive, sustainable, well targeted project. Highly creative and entertaining, providing an effective educational forum”.

The IVCA Clarion Awards recognise best practice in communicating the importance of CSR, sustainable development, social inclusion and ethical debate. Their purpose is to identify the role of communicators in encouraging an ethical culture and fostering higher levels of engagement with key social or environmental issues. The International Visual Communications Association (IVCA) is the professional trade body for visual communicators.
