Barrow Cadbury Trust
Contact: Des Palmer (National Consultant)
Purpose: The trust has one off grants to fund grassroots projects that work directly with disabled people or refugees in local communities.
Who Can Apply: We are a foundation that seeks to encourage a just, equal, peaceful and democratic society.
We use the income generated from our endowment to make grants to support groups, usually registered charities, working to achieve such objectives. We make grants to groups operating from a position of disadvantage, to support projects that get to the heart of the matter at community level.
Over the last century, the Trust will have invested well over £150 million in community-based projects in some of the most deprived communities in the UK and in the conflict-torn regions of the world
